About Us

At The Hrlmgirl Project our mission is to empower high school girls in the Metro Atlanta area by fostering holistic growth through education, community service and travel.  We are committed to creating opportunities that nurture personal development, leadership and global awareness.

Our Programs

High School Program

The Hrlmgirl Project's High School Program is a mentorship initiative designed to equip young women with essential life skills, confidence, and guidance for their futures. Meeting once a month, from September through May, we engage in meaningful discussions on topics such as leadership, financial literacy, self-care, college preparation, and more.

In addition to our monthly meetings, participants are encouraged to give back through community service projects, fostering a sense of social responsibility and compassion.

For high school seniors, we offer Senior Saturdays, a dedicated program focused on college applications,  FAFSA assistance, and career planning. Our goal is to ensure each senior is fully prepared for life after high school.

We conclude the program with an exciting end-of-year trip that combines fun, education, and cultural experiences, celebrating the growth and achievements of each participant.

Say Yes to the Dress: Prom Dress Giveaway

The Hrlmgirl Project’s Prom Dress Giveaway is an empowering initiative aimed at making every young girl’s dream of a magical prom night come true. We provide free, gently-used, and brand-new dresses to high school girls who may not have the means to purchase a gown for their special night.

Our mission is to ensure that no girl misses out on the joy of prom due to financial hardships. This event not only offers dresses but also boosts confidence and creates lasting memories for our young women.

Veronica Adams Passport Scholarship

The Veronica Adams Passport Scholarship is a transformative initiative by The Hrlmgirl Project, designed to empower young women through the gift of global exploration. Named in honor of Veronica Adams, the mother of our founder, this scholarship provides funding for participants’ very first U.S. passport, opening the door to a world of possibilities.
